Many families were affected by the rain that took the city by surprise this September, here at MECHS many students were affected.

“Water would fall on paint and would create bubbles, we would have to patch it to fix it. Our house was a mess.” Senior Gus quoted.

As a result of the rain, frogs were all over the campus.

“I had to be careful everywhere I walked. My friend Valeria almost fell down the stairs. Honestly, I thought it was dangerous.” Said sophomore Cynthia.

With all the floods around the school, the entrances were blocked.

“I was walking to class and I stepped in a huge puddle. My shoes were wet the rest of the day; it was really gross.” Freshman Sarahi told us.
